The Andhra Pradesh police have launched a search for former minister Jogi Ramesh, MLCs Talasila Raghuram and Lella Appi Reddy and senior leader Devineni Avinash. While Jogi Ramesh is accused in the attack on Chandrababu Naidu’s residence on Karakatta, the other leaders are accused in the attack on the TDP office at Mangalagiri.
The police have already arrested former MP, Nandigam Suresh. He was arrested in Hyderabad and shifted to Mangalagiri. The police first went to his Thulluru residence where he was not found. Later, they launched a search and found him in Hyderabad. It is said that Suresh was planning to leave the country for some time.
Jogi Ramesh, before he became a minister in the YSR Congress government, went in procession to Chandrababu Naidu’s residence along with his supporters. He took hundreds of supporters from the party and tried to attack the residence of Naidu. The Mangalagiri police have booked a case against him on the complaint given by the security personnel of Chandrababu Naidu.
The other leaders are accused in the attack on the TDP office at Mangalagiri in 2021. It was alleged that Nadigam Suresh, Lella Appi Reddy, Talasila Raghuram and Devineni Avinash were behind the attack on the TDP office. They have encouraged the party activists and their supporters to attack on the TDP office.
The activists in large numbers attacked the TDP office, destroyed furniture and beat up some TDP workers present in the office. The office secretary of the TDP had given a complaint to the Mangalagiri police. The police started acting on the case as the TDP formed the government in the state.
It is now said that Avinash, Appi Reddy, and Raghuram are missing from their houses. They are suspected to be in Hyderabad. The Mangalagiri police have started a hunt for these leaders.
