Jagan would have gone to London, says Lokesh

TDP general secretary and Minister for IT and Human Resources, Nara Lokesh, on Sunday took a dig at the opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He found fault with Jagan Mohan Reddy for criticizing chief  minister N Chandrababu Naidu on flood relief works. Lokesh said that Chandrababu Naidu at the age of 74 was working round the clock with the people in their hour of crisis. On the contrary, Jagan Mohan Reddy was relaxing and enjoying life in Bengaluru palace.

Lokesh said that Jagan Mohan Reddy would have gone to London by now if there was no problem with Visa. Because of the problem, Jagan Mohan Reddy is still in India, he said. He further alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy was having fun time at Bengaluru when people in Vijayawada were suffering with floods.

He blamed Jagan Mohan Reddy government for not taking up any maintenance works. He said that Chandrababu Naidu government had sanctioned the development works for Budameru at a cost of 464 crore. The Jagan Mohan Reddy government had stopped those works and did not care for the Budameru bunds, he said.

Lokesh further alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy government for neglecting maintenance of water bodies. He said that Budameru bunds were encroached upon during the last five years. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy did not even give a lemon rice packet to the people in distress. He felt that Jagan Mohan Reddy should have participated in the flood relief works in Vijayawada instead of planning to fly to London.
