Former Minister Ambati Rambabu flayed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for making accusations regarding the use of adulterated ghee in the preparation of Tirumala laddu and stated that they were made with malicious intent to take revenge against former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and added that such claims were baseless and hurt the sentiments of crores of devotees.
Rambabu questioned why the NDDP (National Dairy Development Board) report, issued two months ago, was only being made public now and why it was released at the TDP office instead of through official channels. He demanded that Naidu answer all of Jagan’s questions regarding this issue.
He also challenged Naidu and Lokesh if they were willing to take an oath regarding the matter and respond to the accusations. He also requested TTD officials to present the facts to the public instead of spreading false information for political gain. He warned that Naidu would face consequences for hurting the beliefs of devotees with his reckless statements.
