Jana Sena chief and Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday cautioned the opposition YSR Congress leaders not to touch Sanatana Dharma. He said he would not tolerate anyone who touches Sanatana Dharma.

The deputy chief minister washed the steps of Sri Kanakadurga Temple atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on the day as part of his 11-day Deeksha. He said that the YSR Congress leaders have desecrated the Tirumala temple in the last five years. He was doing Prayachittam for the crimes that the YSR Congress leaders have done in the last five years, he said.

He wanted the YSR Congress leaders either to accept the misstate or deny it. He would not accept anything from the YSR Congress leaders, he said. He alleged that the YSR Congress leaders have hurt the sentiments of the Hindus in the world. Hindus across the world are now in agitated mood for the desecrtation done to the holy Laddu.

The YSR Congress leaders were responsible for the adulteration of the ghee supplied to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Pawan Kalyan said. The devotees were now doing Samprokshana to come out of the wrongs done for the Laddu, he said.

The deputy chief minister blamed the YSR Congress leaders for neglecting and ignoring the Hindu temples in the state in the last five years. He alleged that the YSR Congress leaders have done a lot of crimes at the temples and changed the rules leading to insult to the Gods.

He sought to advise the YSR Congress leaders to remain silent and accept the crime or would face the seriousness of the crime from the Hindu devotees. He said that the devotees were doing Samprokshana in their own way to come out of the crimes committed by the YSR Congress leaders.
