In a significant diplomatic engagement, Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh Vangalapudi Anitha met with Frank Talluto, Political and Economic Chief, and Kale Nandula, Regional Security Officer from the US Consulate in Hyderabad. During the meeting, the Hon’ble HM emphasized the growing demand for US visas among the residents of Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the challenges faced by applicants who currently have to travel to Hyderabad for processing. Establishing a dedicated consulate in the state would greatly facilitate this process, making it more accessible and efficient for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
The Home Minister expressed optimism that the presence of a US Consulate would not only aid in visa processing but also foster collaboration in various sectors, contributing to the overall development of the region. Frank Talluto acknowledged the importance of the request and assured the Home Minister that the proposal would be considered seriously.
