Protect the sanctity of Tirumala, Naidu tells officials

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had directed the officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) to protect the sanctity of the temple. He told them to ensure that the devotees who visit the temple will go back with religious fervor.

Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting with the officials of the TTD at Padmavati Guest House after presenting silk robes to the Lord. He wanted the officials and employees of the TTD to work with commitment and dedication to the Lord.

He also told them that only Govinda to be heard on the top of the hill and nothing else. The entire hill area and the temple area should maintain silence, he said. He told them to keep drinking water ready at every important place for the benefit of the devotees.

He told them to get the feedback from the devotees. Every temple should have a mechanism to get the feedback of the devotees, he said. He instructed Minister for Endowments, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy to ensure that feedback mechanism is in place in every temple in the state.

The chief minister told the officials to improve the quality of prasadam and food in the temple. He told them to increase the quality of food and prasadam in every temple in the state. He wanted the endowments department to work to improve the quality of prasadams. He said that there should not be any compromise on the quality of prasadams.

Chandrababu Naidu told the officials to minimize the VIP culture at the temple. Whenever a VIP visits, it should go peacefully without disturbing the devotees. He told them to take measures to give highest importance to the pilgrims first.

Chandrababu Naidu told them to increase the forest area atop the hill. The forest area should be increased to 80 per cent in the next five years, he said. The state government would work to expand the forest area in the state in the next five years, he said.
