AP govt promoting MSMEs, says Kesineni

Vijayawada MP, Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) said that the Andhra Pradesh state government is promoting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state. The MP visited the food expo at a private convention center in the city on Sunday.

He said that the MSMEs are the source of employment for the youth. The new entrepreneurs would come forward to start MSMEs in the state, he said. He further said that the MSMEs would provide more employment opportunities for the youth.  

The MP wanted the organizers of the expo to organize similar expos across the state. He said that the food industry has high potential of creating employment. He wanted the organizers to attract the youth into food business.

He said that latest technology is entering into the food business. Cooking equipment is coming into the food business, he said. He emphasized the need to promote the food business in the state. He wanted the organizers, particularly the Andhra Pradesh Hotels Association to promote food business in the state.

He also told the youth to make use of the new technology in the kitchen. He said that latest equipment has come into the kitchen to make food business a success. He wanted those in the food business to make use of the new technology.

AP Hotels Association president R V Swamy, AP Caterers Association president Varadarajulu, AP Federation of Commerce and Industry president Vakkalagadda Bhaskara Rao, Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Gaddam Ravi and others were present.
