YSRCP state general secretary S V Satish Kumar Reddy criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for falsely claiming that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had cleared him of wrongdoing in the Skill Scam case.

Speaking to the media at party central office in Tadepalli, Satish Reddy pointed out that the ED had recently seized assets worth Rs 23.54 crore related to the ongoing investigation, showing that the probe was far from over. He questioned how Naidu could declare himself exonerated when there was no such statement from the ED.

He said Chandrababu Naidu has been misleading the public and said the recent asset seizure had left him unsettled. He noted that government funds amounting to Rs 371 crore could not have been released without Naidu’s approval, as Naidu had personally signed off on the disbursements 13 times. He suggested that this directly implicated Naidu in the misuse of the funds.

He highlighted that the ED’s findings showed that money intended for the Siemens project in Andhra Pradesh was diverted through fake invoices and shell companies. He named individuals involved in the scheme, including key executives from DesignTech Systems and Siemens Industry Software India, as mentioned in the ED’s report.

He emphasized that only the courts could clear Naidu, and any claim of a “clean chit” before the investigation was complete was misleading. He asserts that the ED’s investigation would prove the misuse of public funds through dummy companies and confirm Naidu’s involvement in the alleged scam.
