Loot, Share and Eat is Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu’s policy said former chief minister and YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He addressed a media conference at Tadepalli on Friday.
He said that there isDTPT programme going on in the state. The DPT is Dochuko, Panchuko and Tinuko, he said. Chandrababu Naidu was looting the exchequer and sharing it with his mafia friends. Sand and liquor have become the major resources of loot in the state, he alleged.
He said that there was no government in the country that is running for more than four months with vote on account budget. He said that this government could not even table a regular budget, he said. This shows the inefficiency of Chandrababu Naidu, he said.
He also said that Chandrababu Naidu had forgotten his Super Six promises during the election. He is more worried about people asking him on the Super Six, he said. He further alleged that the government was foisting cases against those who question them on the Super Six.
Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu had betrayed every one with his false promises. He had promised Rs 15,000 for all mothers under Thallik Vandanam, he said and wondered where had this promise gone. He further said that Naidu had promised to pay Rs 10,000 to volunteers and after coming to power, he is not using the volunteers. He is not paying them what he had promised, he said.
Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu is the liquor mafia leader. Out of 20 distilleries in the state, 14 distillers were permitted by Chandrababu Naidu only. He said that the YSR Congress government did not give permission to even a single distillery in the last five years.
The liquor brands now available in the state were also permitted by Chandrababu Naidu in 2019, Jagan Mohan Reddy said. Boom Boom Beer, President Medal, 999 Legend, 999 Power Star, brands were permitted by Chandrababu Naidu, he said.
He also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu allowed permit rooms and over 43,000 belt shops in the state. The YSR Congress government withdrew all those shops and even reduced the total shops, he said. He further said that the government sold liquor with responsibility of reducing the consumption.
The liquor consumption in the state had come down drastically in the last five years, he said. However, with higher rates, the revenue had gone up, he said. All the revenue was added to the exchequer, he said. Now, the present government had given the liquor shops permits to the private individuals. The revenue would go into the pockets of these private people, he said.
