Jana Sena chief and deputy chief minister K Pawan Kalyan on Saturday said that his party is winning the confidence of the people in the state. That was the reason why people were joining the party, he said.
Pawan Kalyan addressed the party workers at the party office in Mangalagiri on the day marking the joining of several leaders from the YSR Congress into the party. He welcomed everyone into the party and asked them to work for the party and the people.
Two corporators from Guntur Municipal Corporation, four councilors’ from Jaggaiahpet Municipality, and others joined the Jana Sena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan. They visited the party office and joined the party leaving the YSR Congress.
Pawan Kalyan said that the Jana Sena is spreading across the state. Leaders of various walks of life were joining the party, he said. He asserted that Jana Sena is not for politics but for development. The initiatives of this government in the villages is attracting the people to join the party, he said.
The deputy chief minister said that the Panchayat Raj department is working better than ever. The Palle Panduga conducted recently had changed the face of the villages. The 300 works initiated through Palle Panduga would be completed by Pongal, he said. The villages would give a new look once all these works are completed, he asserted.
Chandu Sambasiva Rao from Guntur, Kalvakolanu Tataji from Amalapuram also joined the Jana Sena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan.
