Naidu promises to develop three regions in AP

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu promised to develop three regions in the state on equal levels. He said that he would develop Visakhapatnam as the economic capital of the state.

Chandrababu Naidu started the works in Amaravati on Saturday. He performed special pooja at the CRDA building at Uddandarayunipalem in Thulluru mandal. He along with Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development performed the poojas.

The government had started the seven-floor building for the CRDA office. The building would come up at a cost of Rs 160 crore. The building is spread over 3.62 acres of which 2.51 acres is landscape.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said that development of Andhra Pradesh is his motive. He said he had developed Cyberabad in the undivided Andhra Pradesh. He had laid eight lane roads in Cyberabad, he said.

After the state was bifurcated, Andhra Pradesh had no capital, he said. He said that the government had identified Amaravati area as the capital in 2016. The farmers have given their lands in land pooling for the development of the state, he said.

He said that the government had prepared the plans for the development of the capital Amaravati. Several crores of rupees were also spent on the new capital. Several buildings construction was started before 2019, he said.

However, the successive YSR Congress government ignored the development of Amaravati in the last five years. The buildings were also neglected and left to their fate, he said. Chandrababu Naidu said that he would complete Amaravati in the next five years. The state would have a permanent capital in the next five years, he asserted.

He further said that the government would work to establish a High Court bench in Kurnool. Thus, the government would develop the three regions in the state on equal lines, he said. He said that the state has to be rebuilt and at the same time, the evil in the state has to be completely destroyed.

He termed former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as the evil force in the state. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed the state including Amaravati. The state government will work hard to rebuild the state and develop Amaravati, he said.
