YSRCP Krishna District President and former Minister Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani) criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s governance, stating that he failed to create wealth and instead privatized public assets for his allies’ benefit. He highlighted that while YS Jagan’s administration initiated infrastructure projects, Naidu’s government has stalled projects like the Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam, and Moolapeta ports and now seeks to privatize them.

Speaking to media at the party central office, Nani condemned the selective silence of certain media outlets, which previously criticized YSRCP but now overlooks steep electricity tariffs and rising essential costs under TDP. He stated that electricity sector losses, which grew significantly during Naidu’s tenure, reflect his inefficiency, with sector debts surging from Rs 29,552 crore to Rs 86,215 crore.

Highlighting Chandrababu’s political maneuvers, Nani challenged Naidu’s false claim of a Supreme Court mandate for the tariff hike, urging transparency. Additionally, he noted that while Jagan’s government advanced 17 medical college projects, Naidu’s administration has hindered them, pushing privatization instead.

Nani demanded a rollback of decisions on electricity tariffs, port privatization, and medical college privatization. Addressing remarks from former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, he dismissed the comments, advising Balineni to focus on local concerns.
