Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that he would not leave anyone who ever indulged in corruption. He further said that he would also not resort to witch-hunt politics.
Chandrababu Naidu launched the free gas cylinders scheme at Edupuram village of Itchapuram mandal in Srikakulam district on Friday. He handed over the free gas cylinders to the beneficiaries in the village and later addressed a public meeting.
Chandrababu Naidu thanked the TDP and Jana Sena activists for their hard work in the recent general elections to the state Assembly. He said that they braved the atrocities of the YSR Congress leaders during the elections. He also said that the TDP and the Jana Sena activists also faced the wrath of the YSR Congress workers during the last five years.
He said that he has the responsibility towards the people and society. He said that he ever wanted to help the people and looked forward to their welfare. He saw the women having tough time at the cooking and had introduced the Deepam scheme. He said that women in the state were relieved of the smoke from the firewood.
He had now brought the free gas cylinders scheme to help the women. The government would give three free gas cylinders per year and asked the women to make use of it. He said that the TDP and NDA have promised free gas cylinders during the elections. Now, the NDA is implementing the scheme, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the government would reimburse the gas cylinder price into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in 48 hours after the delivery of the gas cylinder. The government had made all arrangements with the gas companies to pay the cylinder price, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the government would complete the Polavaram and Amaravati projects. The Central government is helping the state government to complete these two projects as per the schedule, the chief minister said.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the government is planning to develop industrial corridor in 10,000 acres in Mulapet area. The government is also planning to fill 16,347 jobs through mega DSC by this December. The government is working on these lines, he said.
Central Minister for Aviation, K Ram Mohan Naidu, said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed Andhra Pradesh in the last five years. The government is now working to rebuild the state under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, he said.
Minister for Civil Supplies, Nadendla Manohar, Minister K Atchennaidu, local MLA Bendalam Ashok and others were present along with Chandrababu Naidu.
