Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) leader Manda Krishna Madiga took strong exception to the statement of deputy chief minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan against Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha. Krishna Madiga said that the remarks were a great insult to the Madiga community.

Krishna Madiga said that Pawan Kalyan should not have made such a comment publicly. He said that if Pawan Kalyan was not happy with the performance of the Home Minister he should have spoken the same in the cabinet meeting or complained to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It was an internal matter to be discussed within the four walls, he said.

The MRPS leader said that Pawan Kalyan had no respect for the Dalits. He did not give at least one seat to the Dalits from the three cabinet berths that Jana Sena took in the NDA government. He also alleged that Pawan Kalyan did not favour Madiga leaders during the elections too.

He also recalled that Pawan Kalyan never spoke for the Madiga community during his political career. He alleged that Pawan Kalyan had some negative stand towards Madiga community in the state. His comment against Anitha was aimed at insulting the Madigas, he said.

Krishna Madiga said that he would remember these comments of Pawan Kalyan against the Madiga minister in the cabinet. He would take up the issue with the chief minister at an appropriate time, he said. How it would be if any other minister also makes such a comment against the portfolios that Pawan Kalyan is holding. What if anyone comments on the roads and drinking water supply in the Panchayat Raj department, which is held by Pawan Kalyan, he asked.

He sought to advise Pawan Kalyan to restrain from making such comments against his own cabinet ministers. He said that the MRPS would not remain silent if the Jana Sena chief made such comments in the future.
