Former Minister Kurasala Kannababu criticized the government for its blatant lies on state finances, law and order and other issues.

Speaking to media, Kannababu said, the State government has been caught napping on the state finances when Chandrababu Naidu and his alliance partners went hammer and tongs on state finances giving incoherent figures up to Rs 14 lakh crores while the actual amount shown in the budget stands at over Rs 6 lakh crores.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that 30,000 women were trafficked but in assembly the government has said that the missing women number was just 46. While they have propagated that government has spent Rs 3,000 crores on colouring buildings but the actual figure shown in the House was told by Pawan that Rs 101 crore was spent for painting and white washing as well.

The lies extended that there was no permission for Rushikonda buildings. They said that volunteer honorarium would be hiked to Rs 10,000 but now they have been telling that volunteer system does not exist. The prices of essential commodities have risen and power charges are rising steeply in the name of smart meters, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu government has taken loans of Rs 50,000 crores in the last five months which shows his discipline in managing state finances. Instead of creating wealth, as he boasts, he is going road tax and collect toll from road users, he said.

The assembly session has made it clear that all the allegations leveled against us are false and baseless, he said.
