YSR Congress president and former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced an action plan for Party to highlight the failures of the coalition government and picket Collector offices demanding input subsidy, rollback of hiked power charges and immediate clearance of fees reimbursement dues.
After a meeting with Party district presidents, secretaries, general secretaries and regional coordinators, Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a detailed action plan on the issues the party would taking up.
On December 11, the Party would organise rallies and submit representations to district collectors on farmer issues. The demands would be Rs 20,000 input subsidy, MSP to paddy and revival of free crop insurance schemes.
On December, 27 the Party would take up agitation at SE offices and CMD offices and submit memorandum demanding roll-back of hiked power charges. On January 3, the Party would picket Collectorates demanding payment of fees reimbursement and Vasati deevena dues.
The former Chief Minister said power tariff hike, middlemen capturing paddy procurement, farmers not getting MSP, fees reimbursement, terrorising social media activists and the major issues that should be raised on public platform.
The resentment against coalition government is growing with in less than six months of coming to office, they failed to implement super six and super seven after assuming office and all the institutions are being weakened.
For the first time in the state, fees reimbursement is due for three quarters and by January Rs 2,800 crores is pending. Vasathi Deevena bills of Rs 1,100 crore are pending and colleges are warning students not to come to classes if fees is not paid which results in students turning into labourers. Aarogyasri dues amounting to Rs 2,400 crore are pending for the past nine months and patients are in a position to avail the scheme. Salaries are not paid for 108, 104 ambulance services.
On the agriculture front, farmers are not getting MSP which was given through RBKs by e-crop during our governance and farmers were getting Rs 10,000 more per acre, he said. Now the farmers are in distress as their crop is damaged due to heavy rains and government is neglecting them.
Power charges are increasing. In the first-round people were burdened by Rs 6,000 crore and in the next months another Rs 9,000 crore will be imposed. Such a move is unprecedented in the country.
False cases are being foisted on those whoever questions the government. This has never happened after and fear psychosis is spread across the state. Corruption is rampant and red book constitution is being implemented. During elections the coalition partners promised free sand now the government is not getting any revenue but the rate of sand has doubled and the spoils are being shared.
Liquor shops are taken over by Chandrababu and his people and belt shops are being auctioned from village to village for Rs 2 to 3 lakhs each. Industrialists have to pay ransom to MLAs and Chandrababu Naidu and there is a plat to take over Nellore quartz mines.
