YSR Congress president and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that there was severe dissent among people against the coalition government and it is time we be the voice of the people with cadre from State, district and mandal level take to social media and highlight the failures of the government.
Addressing the local bodies leaders from Srikakulam, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he would tour every Parliament constituency and interact with the cadre on every Wednesday and Thursday and further strengthen the Party ad highlight the failures of the coalition.
Time has come we become the voice of the people, he said, as the government failed on all fronts and all institutions have been weakened. Education and medical sectors are completely neglected and farmers are in distress while corruption has been rampant and, in every constituency, mafia has been formed to loot money in liquor, sand mining and gambling dens have propped up.
We gave priority to family welfare while TDP has told lies that it will help everyone in the house hold and has backtracked. By now people have understood the contrast between our governance and the present one, which has gone back on every promise it made while we used to give welfare calendar for the entire year, allocate funds in budget and transfer amount as scheduled.
While education lost its sheen in the coalition government, Amma Vodi, fees reimbursement and other dues were not paid and students are facing hardships. On the medical front, Aarogyasri bills are cleared and 108,104 staff were not paid salaries.
Farmers are in distress as they are not getting MSP and middlemen have entered the field to exploit them while we were taking care of the farmers through RBKs. Corruption has become rampant for every service. Land, sand, liquor, mining are all in the hands of mafia and from top to bottom everyone is sharing the spoils, he said.
Party will be strengthened from booth level and the cadre should be using Facebook, twitter X, instar, YouTube to highlight the failure of the coalition government as we will be fighting the coalition partners and its friendly media. Very soon we will be seeing the present government will be reduced to single digit, he said.
