YSR Congress Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy on Thursday alleged that the TDP MLAs are resorting to heavy corruption in the state. He said that the MLAs are collecting commissions, kickbacks and resorting to violence in the state.
Vijayasai Reddy took to the social media where he posted against the TDP MLAs in the state. He explained how the TDP MLAs are collecting money from the people and various sources in the last 100 days of the NDA government in the state.
He alleged that 90 MLAs are collecting money from different sources and have become the sources of corruption. In the last four months, people across the state have started speaking against the government, he said.
He said that the MLAs were collecting money from the government employees and police officers for their postings. They are also collecting money from the liquor shops and liquor merchants, he alleged. They were also collecting percentage commission from the contractors in the state, he said.
The MLAs were offering lucarative posts for some officials who acted as the agents of the TDP during the YSR Congress government, he said. They are now being encouraged by the NDA government and its MLAs, he said.
Vijayasai Reddy further alleged that the MLAs have formed into a syndicate in the liquor sales. They are quoting the low prices and eating into the revenue for the exchequer, he said. He further said that the MLAs were involving in litigations and private settlements. They were also encouraging prostitution in the state, he alleged.
Vijayasai Reddy demanded that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu release white paper on the allegations against the MLAs. He also wanted Chandrababu Naidu to respond to the allegations and keep their party MLAs in control.
