Former Minister Chelluboyina Venu Gopala Krishna criticized the TDP coalition leaders for creating a business environment where 30 percent commissions are mandatory for any business operations.

Speaking at a press conference at the YSRCP office in Rajahmundry, the former minister stated that the coalition government, led by Chandrababu Naidu, has failed to deliver on its promise of wealth creation for the state. Instead, he said, public resources are being funneled into the pockets of coalition leaders.

Venu Gopala Krishna highlighted that during YSRCP’s rule, 43,000 belt shops were shut down to reduce alcohol consumption, but the new government has reversed these efforts, encouraged alcohol sales and endangered public health. He further criticized the policies on liquor and sand, calling them complete failures. The sand shortage has crippled the construction sector, leaving thousands of families in distress, he said.

He also pointed out that despite promises of free sand, prices have skyrocketed under the new government. He stated that the coalition leaders have looted 45 lakh tons of sand within just one month, depriving the state of significant revenue.
