Former state government advisor and YSR Congress general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy took strong objection to the police giving him notice in the attack on TDP office. Speaking to media at the party central office in Tadepalli on Wednesday, Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh was resorting to political witch-hunt.
Ramakrishna Reddy said that he went to the US on October 7 and the government had issued notice to him on October 10. He said that the police were well aware of my whereabouts and still wondered how they served notice to him.
Ramakrishna Reddy further alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was known for terming a lie into a truth. He said that Chandrababu Naidu was trying to spread lies in the state in the name of attack on the TDP office.
He said that the attack on held on 2021 and the Mangalagiri police have registered case on it. The police have also framed the YSR Congress leaders in the case. The case was transferred to the CID, he said. However, the Chandrababu Naidu government had made the police to serve him the notice at this point of time.
Ramakrishna Reddy said that they have faith in the courts. He claimed that the courts would reveal facts to the people. He further alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had destroyed the police system in the state. He further said that Chandrababu Naidu was known for destroying every institution in the state.
While asking the state government whether there is governance in the state. He said that Chandrababu Naidu had been using the police to target the opposition leaders since he came to power in June this year. The police have become tools in the hands of the chief minister, he said.
