The Andhra Pradesh Assembly would begin on November 11. The state government wants to table a full budget on the first day of the session. The state government also is planning to have the session for 10 days.

Sources say that the budget would be tabled at 10 am on the first day of the session as the vote on account budget is scheduled to end on November 30. The NDA government headed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had presented the vote on account budget after it came to power. The government said that it had no idea on the financial position of the government and the resources available. Hence it had presented vote on account budget during the first session of the Assembly.

Now, in six months, the government was able to study the financial position of the state. It also has the idea on the available resources with the government. Chandrababu Naidu had given a clear picture to the finance department to prepare the budget. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav is working on the budget now to be presented to the state assembly.

The state government also plans to table a handful of bills in the present session. A couple of bills are related to Amaravati, the capital city of the state.
