YSR Congress president and Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy paid floral tributes to B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of Indian constitution, on his death anniversary.
Former ministers Merugu Nagarjuna and Adimulapu Suresh, MLC Mondithoka Arun Kumar, State General Secretary Jupudi Prabhakar Rao, former MLA TJR Sudhakar Babu, and YSRCP leaders Varikuti Ashok Babu, Kakumanu Rajasekhar, and Kommuri Kanakaraju were present on the occasion.
Taking to X, the former Chief Minister wrote ” Tributes to the social revolutionary and architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, on his death anniversary. Drawing inspiration from his vision, we have established the world’s tallest statue of Dr. Ambedkar dedicated to social justice at Swaraj Maidan in Vijayawada. His life remains a beacon of inspiration and an ideal for everyone”.
Meanwhile, YSRCP leaders paid rich tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Bharat Ratna awardee, on his 69th death anniversary at the party’s central office in Tadepalli. Speaking on occasion, former Minister Adimulapu Suresh said YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had worked tirelessly to ensure equal opportunities for all communities. The present coalition government under Chief Minister Chandrababu has focused on creating divisions among Dalits. Atrocities against Dalits, women, and girls are on the rise, and the government remains silent. Instead of addressing these injustices, they file false cases to harass those who raise their voices.
YSRCP State General Secretary Judupi Prabhakar Rao said Dr. Ambedkar was a visionary who emphasized that every human being deserves equal rights. His fight for equality and justice inspired the society we live in today. The YSRCP, under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, upheld the spirit of the Constitution and carried forward his legacy during its governance. In stark contrast, the coalition government has blatantly undermined the principles of Ambedkar’s Constitution.”
