YSR Congress has slammed the coalition government for its total failure on all fronts more so its neglect on agriculture sector with farmers getting a raw deal and said they would picket colelctorates state-wide on December 13.

Speaking to media at separate press conferences, MLC Botsa Satyanarayana and former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy said farmers are being totally neglecting with paddy procurement, MSP and input subsidy being erased and middlemen exploiting them to the hilt.

To highlight the failures of coalition government, the Party will undertake dharnas at all the Collector offices across the state on December 13 and submit a memorandum showing the contrast between the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government and the present one and how farmers are being betrayed during the past six months and in the 2014-19 term of Chandrababu Naidu.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had taken care of farmers by transferring the Rythu Bharosa amount of Rs 13,500 on the dot besides helping them from sowing to marketing through RBKs while Chandrababu has been neglecting farmers totally as his priorities were elsewhere, they said.

Farmers did not get the promised input subsidy and their damaged crops during the recent rains had burdened them and there is no review or relief from the coalition government, they said.

To cover-up the failures, coalition government has been searching for alibies one after the other and has miserably failed in paddy procurement and on other fronts as well, they said. Botsa Satyanarayana demanded roll-back of hiked power tariff and in protest against the hike, the Party would submit memorandum to SEs across the state.

The Vizag ship drug container fiasco ending with CBI is a positive sign but the level in which coalition partners have slung the mud reflects their meanness, he said. The Parents meeting conducting by coalition government has brought to light the development done by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government under Nadu Nedu to the schools, he said.
