Pawan gives Rs 1 crore to CM Relief Fund

Jana Sena chief and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister, K Pawan Kalyan, donated Rs 1 crore to the state government to meet the flood relief works in the state. He met chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and handed over the cheque to him on Saturday.

Pawan Kalyan reached the NTR district collectorate and met the chief minister. The chief minister had been camping in the collectorate for the past five days monitoring the flood relief operations in Vijayawada.

The chief minister briefed the deputy chief minister about the damage caused to the city due to floods. He also explained how the floods damaged the city and caused devastation in Ajitsinghnagar, Payakapuram, Prakashnagar, Rajarajeswaripet and other areas.

The chief minister also enquired about the health of the deputy chief minister, who is suffering from viral fever for the past three days. He also advised Pawan Kalyan to take rest till he gets well.

Later, Pawan Kalyan offered prayers to Lord Ganapathi at the collectorate. The priests blessed him and presented prasadam to the deputy chief minister.
