Sub: Cases to be booked against BJP leaders for their utterances on Sri Rahul Gandhi, request – regarding.
We bring to your kind notice that the BJP leaders across the country are making bizarre statements against former AICC president and present Leader of Opposition, Sri Rahul Gandhi ji. Some leaders are threatening to kill Sri Rahul Gandhi ji, while some others have announced reward for those who kill Sri Rahul Gandhi ji. Some more BJP leaders from Andhra Pradesh have slapped with footwear on the face of Sri Rahul Gandhi ji’s photo.
These statements and actions of the BJP leaders are very dangerous for our democracy. The statements of these leaders can’t be ignored as they would provoke violence in the country. Never in the history of Indian democracy, a political party leaders have made such derogatory and threatening statements against their rivals.
It is not known whether the BJP top leadership approves these statements against Sri Rahul Gandhi ji. It is also not known whether Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi ji and Home Minister Sri Amit Shah ji are aware of these statements.
A Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad had announced a reward of Rs 11 lakh to anyone who will chop off the tongue of Sri Rahul Gandhi ji. Delhi BJP leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah had openly said that Sri Rahul Gandhi ji would meet the same fate as his grandmother, late Smt, Indira Gandhi ji. Some BJP leaders from Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh have slapped on the face of Sri Rahul Gandhi ji’s photo as part of their protest.
These statements and acts of the BJP leaders across the country suggest some life threat to Sri Rahul Gandhi ji. These statements and acts of the BJP leaders are also not good for a healthy democracy. In this background, we, the members of the Congress Party, request you sir to book cases against those who made these statements and who slapped on the face of Sri Rahul Gandhi ji in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.
