Former minister from Ongole Balineni Srinivasa Reddy met Jana Sena chief and deputy chief minister K Pawan Kalyan at the party office in Mangalagiri on Thursday. The two leaders held a long discussion on the future of the party.
It is not decided yet when Balineni would join the Jana Sena. However, it became clear that Balineni would shortly join the Jana Sena along with his supporters from the Prakasam district. He also has some following in the neighbouring Bapatla and Nellore districts.
Coming out of the meeting with Pawan Kalyan, Balineni said that he would work with the party chief. He said he would work to strengthen the party in the state. He said he would join the Jana Sena in a public meeting to be held in Ongole. He said that he would decide the date shortly, which would be convenient to Pawan Kalyan.
He said that he had lost several properties in the YSR Congress. He further alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy never spoke about him either in the party meetings or the public meetings. He said he was always loyal to the party and Jagan Mohan Reddy. But Jagan Mohan Reddy never trusted him, he said.
On the contrary, Pawan Kalyan spoke good of him, though he never met him. He said that Pawan Kalyan recognizes the party leaders and gives them respect. He was looking for such a leadership in politics, Balineni said.
