Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had once said that he is a follower of Che Guevara, the Cuban communist leader. He also said that he had read more about Che Guevara and loved his principals. He also said that once he wanted to go and join the Maoists as he liked their ideology.
Later, he bowed at the feet of Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati and said that he follows Dr B R Ambedkar more than anyone. He went all the way to Lucknow and met Mayawati. He had tied up with the BSP in the 2019 general elections.
At one of the meetings in the Godavari districts, Pawan Kalyan said that he was Baptised by his one of the Christian friends. Once Baptised, anyone is a Christian for his life time, the fact that Pawan Kalyan is not aware of it.
However, after the 2024 general election, Pawan Kalyan turned more a Hindu than a secularist. He had been doing some or the other pooja these days frequently. He is found doing one or the other pooja or yagam. He appears to be more a Hindu than even the RSS and VHP leaders.
When the Tirumala laddu row broke up in Andhra Pradesh, he started prayachitta deeksha. He offered prayers at a temple near Mangalagiri. He washed the staircase of Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada. He called upon the people to protect the Sanatana Dharma.
At every media briefing, Pawan Kalyan spoke about Sanatana Dharma and made an appeal to the people to protect it. He also cautioned those who speak against Sanatana Dharma. He changed his dress style and went into saffron to make people believe him.
He ended this round of his deeksha at Tirupati with the worship of Lord Venkateswara. He walked up the hill with great difficulty. As he is the deputy chief minister, the officials have taken several measures, including keeping an ambulance ready for him.
But what is surprising is that he gave a declaration in the temple for his daughter, Polina Anjana Konidela, to worship the Lord. Polina is a Christian and his daughter. If his daughter is not following the Sanatana Dharma and he cannot make his family members to follow the Sanatana Dharma, whom is he asking to follow is the big question.
A successful man is one who implements his ideology at home first and goes to the people later. But what is happening in the case of Pawan Kalyan is that he is not implementing his ideology at his home. He is not making his daughters to follow Sanatana Dharma. He left them to be Christians and he is going all out to protect the Sanatana Dharma!.
