Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader, Dr Chinta Mohan, on Monday alleged that Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his team were using the Tirupati temple for their political mileage. He alleged that these leaders have taken Laddu to create controversy in the country.
Dr Mohan justified the three questions raised by Supreme Court on the day. He said that the Supreme Court had asked the state government whether it has evidence to prove that ghee was contaminated and it was used for the preparation of laddu.
The court also questioned the state government for bringing laddu into politics. He wondered why the government had used laddu for their political gains. He further said that the Supreme Court had also questioned the state government for constituting Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the allegation.
He said that the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh was using Tirupati and temple for their political mileage. Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Lokesh and others have also spoke about contaminated laddu for political gains, he said.
He felt that Chandrababu Naidu should not have talked about laddu and confused the millions of devotees. He said that TTD executive officer J Shyamala Rao spoke the truth first but changed his stand later. He said that the NDA government led by the TDP was scared of former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was running politics around Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.
Dr Mohan also blamed the NDA government for not implementing their Super Six promises. He said that people were waiting for the government to start the implementation of the Super Six. He said that the Congress government in Karnataka and Telangana have rolled out the free bus travel promise in the two states.
He wondered why the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh was not able to implement the promise. He said that lakhs of women in the state were waiting for the government to start free bus travel. He wanted to know what was stopping the NDA government from implementing their promise.
