YSRCP president and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held an important meeting with local representatives and party workers from the Repalle constituency at the Tadepalli party office and reiterated his call for party workers to stay united and continue working for the betterment of the people, assuring them that their efforts would not go unnoticed and would always be rewarded.
Addressing the meeting, Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized the importance of values, integrity, and resilience. He stressed that hardships are temporary and light always follows darkness, encouraging his followers to remain steadfast in their principles. Jagan underscored that it is their character and commitment to these values that would guide them through difficult times and protect them, much like a shield. He urged the party workers to take inspiration from his own life, where he faced numerous challenges, including wrongful imprisonment, but continued to serve the people. YS Jagan reaffirmed that truth and good deeds will always prevail and also extended his full support to Ganesh, a dedicated party worker who has consistently stood by the party and its members.
Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his disappointment over the departure of Mopidevi Venkataramana from the YSRCP. He emphasized that the party had always treated Mopidevi with respect, offering him key positions, including MLC, minister, and Rajya Sabha MP. He remarked that it was unfortunate that Mopidevi chose to leave the party despite the significant support and opportunities he received from YSRCP.
Jagan stated that, under Red Book governance, the state is in turmoil with rampant intimidation and false cases against individuals. Corruption has reached unprecedented levels, causing the collapse of all systems. In every constituency, multiple gambling clubs are thriving, while efforts to increase liquor sales through distillery deals and liquor syndicates are evident. Additionally, there is a push to establish belt shops in every village, he said. YS Jagan also highlighted the worsening situation with sand. While in the past the government generated revenue from sand sales, today it’s being sold at more than double the price, despite claims of it being regulated.
Jagan also emphasized YSRCP’s commitment to fulfilling manifesto promises during their 2019-2024 governance, despite challenges like COVID-19. He highlighted revolutionary changes in education, healthcare, and agriculture, including digital learning, Aarogyasri expansion, and free crop insurance. He criticized Chandrababu Naidu for misleading voters with false promises.
