Pawan launches Palle Panduga at Kankipadu

Jana Sena chief and deputy chief minister K Pawan Kalyan on Monday launched the week-long Palle  Panduga at Kankipadu in Krishna district. He said that the government is committed for the development of villages in the state.

The Palle Panduga is being organized across the 13,326 villages in the state. The government had sanctioned Rs 4,500 crore to take up 30,000 works. These works were identified on August 23 this year when the grama sabhas were conducted.

Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s experience is coming handy for the cabinet to develop the state. He said that the chief minister is working hard to develop the state and guide the ministers. He expressed confidence that the state would be developed in the next five years under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu.

He said that the government would lay 3,000 kilometers of cement concrete roads, 500 kilometers of tar roads, 25,000 gokulams and water trenches in 10,000 acres of land in the state. He said that the government had decided to display the details of every work in every village.

Pawan Kalyan said that the government is encouraging transparency in every work. He further asserted that this government would not allow corruption in administration. The government would take action against any corrupt official, he asserted.

He said that he wanted a stable and strong government in the state and had hence proposed alliance with the TDP. The state required the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu, he said. He said that the government in the last four months had delivered welfare and initiated development in the state. He expressed confidence that the state would go in the line that the NDA is expected.

He said that the previous YSR Congress government had failed to develop the state. Though people have given 151 MLAs to the YSR Congress, they did not develop the state, he said. He further blamed the previous government for not developing the villages. Not a single road was laid in the last five years of the YSR Congress government, he said.

He further blamed the YSR Congress government for neglecting the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. He said that the present government had brought funds to the state under the scheme. The present government would work hard to utilize every paise of the scheme and develop the villages, he said.
