Krishna district president and former Minister Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani) came down heavily on Ys Sharmila for falling in the trap of Chief Minister Chandrababu and getting  the shares of Saraswati power company  transferred on her mother YS Vijayamma’s name, in violation of the court’s restrictions, making the prospects of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy legal cases more complicated.

Speaking to the media at the party’s central office, the former minister said that Sharmila had the shares transferred fully aware that it was illegal and questioned who would be responsible for the consequences of such actions, adding that Jagan had no option but to approach the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to protect his rights.

Perni Nani reminded that the properties of Jagan, including Bharathi Cements, Sakshi Media, and Saraswati Power, are all self-acquired through his business ventures. Jagan, out of love for his sister, signed an MoU to transfer shares of Saraswati power company to Sharmila, promising to settle the matter after legal cases were resolved. Nani questioned whether anyone else would give away such significant amounts of wealth to their family members if there was no love.

Nani criticized the inaction of Chandrababu and his party towards the growing number of crimes against women and girls in the state, emphasizing that instead of addressing these serious issues, the TDP was focused on stirring unnecessary controversies about Jagan’s family

Perni Nani mentioned that efforts were made to stop Nara Ramamurthy Naidu from criticizing his brother Chandrababu through their mother. Nani questioned whether Chandrababu ever shared his wealth with his siblings, unlike Jagan, who distributed assets to his sister even after their father’s death. He criticized Chandrababu for not sharing any of his wealth with his family.

Nani concluded by stating that Jagan’s love for his family was evident in his willingness to distribute his assets. However, with his sister now being used as a tool in Chandrababu’s conspiracy, Jagan had no choice but to approach the NCLT for justice.
