A man makes threatening calls to Pawan Kalyan

A man made a threatening call to deputy chief minister and Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan. The man threatened to kill the deputy chief minister over the phone. He made calls to the deputy chief minister’s chamber.

The staff immediately alerted Pawan Kalyan about the threatening phone calls and later informed the police. The staff also gave the number from which they received the calls. The police identified that the calls were made from the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium in Vijayawada.

The police identified the number 95055 05556 and identified Mallikharjuna Rao from Tiruvur town in the NTR district. It was found that Mallikharjuna Rao is a relative of a doctor couple in Tiruvuru town.

The police have also found that Mallikharjuna Rao lives in Nellore district and visits Tiruvuru often for money. He takes money from the doctor couple and goes back to Nellore district.

It is believed that Mallikharjuna Rao might have come to Tiruvuru a couple of days ago, and is going back to Nellore, when he stopped over in Vijayawada and made the threatening calls to the deputy chief minister.

Meanwhile, home minister Vangalapudi Anitha spoke to the DGP and asked the police to speed up the investigation. She also complained to the police that she too had received threatening calls twice from the same number. She wanted the police to trace Mallikharjuna Rao and arrest him.

The police found that the mobile phone was switched off and they could not trace Mallikharjuna Rao. They have sent teams to Tiruvuru and Nellore to find the whereabouts of Mallikharjuna Rao. The police said that they would trace the accused and arrest him soon.
